Your privacy is central to Tidy. This policy explains what data is handled (and what isn't).
Tidy processes your files locally on your computer. The App does not send your files, screenshots or folder contents to any server. All tidying happens on your Mac.
Tidy's AI features — renaming screenshots by reading their content (OCR) and building rules from plain language — run entirely on your device using Apple's frameworks (Vision and Apple Intelligence). No image, text or file leaves your Mac, and no internet connection is required for them.
Tidy collects no personal data, does not track your activity and does not build profiles. You don't need an account to use the App.
Our website may use basic, anonymous web analytics (for example, visit counts) to understand usage. It does not identify individuals.
Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Payment data (card, billing) is handled by Paddle under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card details.
You may request information about your data or its deletion by contacting us. For purchase-related data, you may also contact Paddle.
