What this Tidy does
- It reads what is inside your images and scanned PDFs with the OCR that ships with macOS, and renames each file from its content: «Screenshot 2026-08-02 at 11.20.png» becomes «invoice-mueller-gmbh-03-07-2026.png».
- It sorts Downloads, the Desktop and any folder you add, using your rules.
- It searches inside scanned PDFs, where Spotlight finds nothing because there is no text layer.
- It never deletes: everything goes to the Trash and any run undoes in one click.
